SCDR is a partner in Newport SW LLC, an affordable housing development company. Newport SW's first project, Newport at Amphi, which revitalized a busy but underused major corner in walking distance of three public schools and a community health center, opened in December 2021. Newport at the Rodeo, with 77 affordable family apartments on Tucson's southside, opened in January 2024. Belvedere Terrace, with 72 units for low-income elderly, is now in development.
