Sabino
Community Development Resources has worked on both sides of the table in LIHTC transactions, so we understand the needs of all parties. We help private and public investors analyze potential debt and equity investments to ensure the projects are based on sound economic assumptions with real markets and a qualified development team. We assist developers, especially non-profits, obtain Low-Income Housing Tax Credits and assemble financing for their projects.
Non-profit and for-profit developers of affordable housing and
other community development activities: SCDR will assess the
feasibility of proposed housing developments and prepare financial
projections. We'll draft applications for financing programs, including
Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, prepare requests for proposals to potential
equity investors, so that we can help you get the best combination of price
and business terms. SCDR will negotiate the terms of financing with debt and
equity investors and will help you close your financing.
Financial Institutions and other lenders:
We can help design new ways for you to invest in affordable housing and other community development, and we offer
objective and expert evaluations of local housing markets and developer
capacity, and we can review specific investments to identify and mitigate risks.
Community development is a complex business,
requiring diverse talents. Effective development takes a team. SCDR
concentrates on financing, market assessment, and feasibility analysis. You
may work with experts in one or many phases of development but still want the
specialized expertise offered by Sabino Community Development Resources. If
you want to know how SCDR can add value to your work, please please contact
David Wohl for more information.
